County Supervisors finally realize it’s raining

It’s time to come out from your emergency shelters, Humboldtians!

Your great and powerful County Supervisors, with one fell motion, have ended the natural drought emergency that has been plaguing us all! How did they muster the courage and ability to take this gigantic leap of faith?

THC is highly suspicious that they simply looked out the frickin’ window. Or read a newspaper or something for once. Since, you know, there really wasn’t a drought-driven State of Emergency in Humboldt in the first place.

Ask yourselves, Humboldt, was it any less wet last month? Or the month before? We don’t think so. Maybe the rivers are running a little higher – oh, except that they were peaking at flood stage last month. What are they at right now?

Any bets on when they’ll announce an emergency for too much water? We can’t wait.
